What fascinates you most about lettering and where do you prefer to use it?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

What fascinates me about lettering is the variety of possibilities and the craft. It is the perfect balance for my otherwise digital work. In addition to the combination of the fonts, the right composition plays a decisive role in the final result. Thus, the process of writing suddenly becomes an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do you get your inspiration for motifs from? Can you recommend sources?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My inspiration is everyday life! I love to walk through the city with open eyes and collect different examples. In terms of content, I usually get inspired by songs that appeal to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides that, I deal a lot with the topic via social media and with books. An excellent example is \u00bbThe Golden Secrets of Lettering\u00ab by Martina Flor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which lettering artists do you find particularly interesting?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Besides Martina Flor,\u00a0Chris Campe<\/a>\u00a0(Instagram:\u00a0allthingsletters<\/a>),\u00a0Tanja Hildebrand<\/a>\u00a0(Instagram:\u00a0hi__tanja__<\/a>) and last but not least my typography teacher\u00a0Tobias David Albert<\/a>\u00a0(Instagram:\u00a0tobiasdavidalbert<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
