Cyanotype

Participants will be introduced to the technique of cyanotype. In the workshop, a light-sensitive liquid is first applied to a flat material. An important design decision is already made during this process. Therefore, Day 1 is dedicated to developing the motif, applying the liquid, and conducting initial exposure tests. On the second day of the workshop, a print can be made and various experiments can be carried out. The maximum format is A3.

Materials: Suitable paper and other necessary materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to experiment with materials they bring with them. If you wish to expose digital images, computers, printers, and transparencies up to DIN A3 size are available for creating negatives. This also allows you to experiment with fonts, etc.
