Creative leisure for children How are prints made? How are lines and surfaces created and what effect do they have? You draw your motifs on paper. Then you erase them into printing plates, create test prints and a small edition. The course promotes your drawing skills, your powers of observation, the joy of experimentation, sharpens your eye for details, the handling of tools and gives you access to art and printing techniques.
Family leisure at the museum! What are unique prints or monotypes? Paul Klee called this technique oil paint drawings for himself. Working on your own by means of rolling, scraping or drawing in and from colored plates to paper results in fantastic color gradients and shapes. Various printing techniques as well as tools and machines of an artistic printing house are presented. The course promotes the joy of experimentation, drawing skills and observation, sharpens the eye for details and provides access to art and printing technology.
Creative leisure time for children The participants implement simple motifs in linocut, or set a few lines in lead typesetting. Printing is done on the covers of small booklets that are bound at the end of the workshop. Personal and individual sketchbooks are created in a relatively short time.
