All prices include 19% German VAT.


Registration for the open workshop is done in advance by e-mail or telephone. Our Tuesday evening workshop runs from 6pm through 9pm. The three-hour package can be booked for 30 €. Other time slots are available upon request and are charged at an hourly rate of 12 €. Should you plan a larger project, please reach out and we’ll check whether a discount can be arranged.

Our prices include the consumption of rags, aprons, hand cleaners, etc. in the typical quantities.

Printing special formats

If formats are printed that require special machine settings, a machine setup fee of 41.65 € is charged. One example is oversized relief prints (woodcuts or linocuts) printed on the etching press, which requires modifications that make it temporarily unavailable for other prints.

Prices for zinc etching plates

An average consumption of rosin, asphalt varnish or etching primer, etching bath, thinner, etc. is included in the prices. For plates not purchased from us, 50 % of the stated price will be charged.

Typical paper sizes (i. e. Hahnemühle artistic handmade cotton paper 150–300 g / m2):

  • 1 eighth sheet (13.3 × 10 cm) 0.40 €
  • 1 quarter sheet (13.3 × 20 cm) 0.60 €
  • 1 half sheet (20 × 26,5 cm) 1.20 €
  • 1 whole sheet (40 × 26,5 cm) 2.30 €
  • 1 double sheet (39 × 53 cm) 4,50 €
  • 1 half big sheet (78 × 53 cm) 9,00 €
  • 1 big sheet (78 × 106 cm) 18,00 €

The calculation includes storage, the process of paper cutting and dampening, ink, wiping gauze and thinner in the typical quantities.

For each additional print on the same paper and/or additional colors, 50 % of the above price will be added to the final price. Consumption example: first print on a whole sheet (2.30 €) + one further print with another color (1.15 €) = final price of 3.45 €.

For own paper we charge 50 % of the corresponding price.

Prices for relief printing

Various printing papers are available:

  • Din A2 1.00 €

The calculation includes printing ink and thinner in the typical quantities.

Linoleum plates:

  • Din A6 1.80 €
  • Din A5 3.00 €

Essdee softcut plates:

  • Din A5 3.60 €

Prices for Lithograph

We charge a flat rate for tools (pens, scrapers, chalk, file, sponges, rags) and materials (gum arabic, nitric acid, vinegar, turpentine balsam oil, gauze, etc.) per stone:

  • Stones from the upper shelf (size S to M) 18.00 €
  • Stones from the middle shelf (size L) 24.00 €
  • Stones from the lower shelf (size XL) 36.00 €

Rent the studio to conduct your own workshops

Studio rental (including machines, tools and advertising through our channels) costs 160 € / day.

Per participant an additional fee of 10% of the workshop price will be charged. This covers material costs and other consumables in the studio.

There is an additional cleaning fee of 60 €.
